Domestic Abuse

Domestic violence today is overlooked, denied, or excused. There are two types of domestic abuse emotional and physical. Many people involved in domestic violence are striding for power over their significant other such as a girlfriend/boyfriend or wife/husband. These abusers will use everything that has built up inside of them like fear, guilt, shame, and intimidation to be violent. Mostly women are hurt but men are also hurt but more emotionally and verbally. These people are scared to leave the violent person and stay because they have a place to live. Homeless or poor people will live with violent people just to have somewhere to live. Some places today have a zero tolerance policy for violence. These violence that comes out. Things to look for in an abusive relationship are the first stage is threats then verbal abuse and finally violence. If you feel uncomfortable or feel threatened by your partner you could also be in a violent relationship. if you are being abused dont sit back and let your partner abuse you. Speak up and tell someone.

I agree that domestic violence is very harmful to many women now adays. I think it's terrible that some people have to put up with this because they are scared to leave that person who is abusing them.
